Pizza in Huntsville AL: With A Park View
Pane e Vino Pizzeria is in a fantastic location just on the end of Big Spring Park. You can attend events at Big Spring Park or just people-watch. Not only is the gourmet pizza delicious, the setting is family-friendly too. There is live music and corn hole to keep the kids entertained outside.
Pane e Vino Pizzeria
Downtown is where you need to go if you are looking for the best pizza in Huntsville Alabama. Pane E Vino Pizzeria sits next to Big Spring Park outside the Huntsville Museum of Art. This coveted location comes with plenty of outdoor seating and is elevated by the modern aesthetic of the building.
Their menu is brimming with Italian classics like pasta, salads, and paninis, but it is the pizza that is the start of the show. All the pizzas are named after famous artists and paintings, staying on theme with the location.
Their classics are the Da Vinci and the Michelangelo which include ingredients like Roma tomatoes, basil, arugula, mozzarella, and balsamic reduction.
On the other hand, my favourite was the Clemenza (and the only Italian connection I can think of is Peter Clemenza from The Godfather movies Trilogy) which isn’t an artist or a painting. For the best pizza Huntsville AL offers, I’m willing to forgive this inconsistency. The Clemenza (sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, onions and bell peppers) is delicious and pairs well with their Southern Heat cocktail (Jalapeño vodka and orange juice).
Meat lovers go nuts for the Salvador Dali which is overloaded with mozzarella, pepperoni, sausage, meatball, bacon, and salami. Those who prefer a more refined symphony of flavors tuck into the Mona Lisa which includes goat cheese, mushroom, prosciutto, pear, bourbon pecan, spinach, and olive oil.
Are you on team “calzones are pizza”? Then you will be happy to cut into one of Pane Vino Pizzeria’s saucy, cheesy, delicious calzones or you can create your own custom calzone.
Pane e Vino Huntsville has a fantastic location on the edge of Big Spring Park near the AC Marriott Hotel. It’s a perfect place for people watching after a visit to the renowned Huntsville Museum of Art or Von Braun Center.

Pizza in Huntsville AL: Shopping Break
Our favourite mall in Huntsville, the Bridge Street Town Center, has lots of restaurants as well as great shops (the Apple Store and the Rocket City Panda Emporium to name a few). Although I am in love with the Shrimp & Grits at Connor’s Steak & Seafood at Bridge Street (which appears on 100 dishes you must try in Alabama), my children always head straight for pizza whenever there is the option.
Great shopping and great pizza? win/win IMHO.
Pieology Pizzeria Bridge Street
This Bridge Street mall pizzeria has made an exact science out of creating the best fast-casual dining experience for pizza lovers. This is one of the best chain pizzerias in Huntsville, guaranteeing fast service and quality pizzas. Here you can also get gluten-free and cauliflower bases or get extra indulgent with their home-made thick base.
Their highly customizable menu is a hit with picky or adventurous eaters, and everyone loves their “after bake sauces” that add some extra depth to the pizzas. Some of their signatures include Chicken Bacon Ranch and a Mega Meat Pizza, but they also cater to vegetarians with the delectable Veggie Pesto Pizza.
Their new BBQ Luau Pizza, topped with French’s Fried Onions has been a massive hit too. On the sweet side, they also don’t disappoint with a range of ooey-gooey cookies and a cinnamon churro pizza topped with a sweet cream sauce.
