Honest Coffee Roasters Huntsville
The vibrant downtown of Huntsville is where you want to be for the best artisanal coffees around. Honest Coffee Roasters specializes in craft brews and they offer a wide selection of high-quality drinks.
They offer a memorable experience to all their visitors and their coffee, food, and service are exceptional. Their açaí bowls are a breakfast favorite in these parts and they can serve vegan and gluten-free food and drinks, too.

Angel’s Island Coffee Huntsville AL
The bright blue and yellow exterior makes Angel’s Island Coffee one of the most recognizable Huntsville coffee shops. They boast the best espresso in Huntsville but their coffee-based ice-cream drinks are equally as legendary.
They also have a range of pastries and sandwiches made fresh daily for when you feel a bit peckish!
My favourite part of this coffee shop in Huntsville though is the drive-through window – super convenient if you are heading out of town on the parkway to visit nearby places like Scottsboro Alabama or Lake Guntersville State Park.

Dark Side Coffee Huntsville
One of the new Huntsville coffee spots, Dark Side Coffee Huntsville already has two locations. One Dark Side Huntsville coffee shop is on the North Side whereas the other is in uptown Huntsville. The freshly ground coffee is sourced from Cameroon, famous for its robust flavors.
They offer exciting signature drinks, like Snickerdoodle Lattes and a Dark Side Mocha, but their main attraction is an all-day cereal bar buffet. Having tried the Snickerdoodle latte, the dark roast off the coffee set off the sweetness well.

The Kaffeeklatsch Huntsville
This shop has been serving its loyal local customers since the 70s and they continue to entice passersby with the intoxicating aroma of coffee roasting that lingers around the shop. The shop is rustic and atmospheric and you can sink into their couches for hours or take a coffee class to appreciate their special brews even more.
Offbeat Coffee Shop
Located in Campus 805, Offbeat Coffee Shop sells both great coffee and vinyl records. One of the most unique shops amongst all the Huntsville AL coffee shops, the decor is mid-century modern cool. Here you can combine your love for coffee and music browsing through the nostalgia-filled vinyl record store on-site.
Espresso tonic, tea lattes, and matcha-infused whipped cream are only a few of the unique delights you can expect at Offbeat Coffee Shop.

Olde Towne Coffee Shop Huntsville AL
For more than 20 years the folks at Olde Towne Coffee Shop Huntsville AL have been serving their loyal local customers. The homey shop roasts its own single-origin, organic, fair-trade beans but also shows off its blending prowess by creating one-of-a-kind in-house blends.
You can also dig into their scrumptious sandwiches and sweet treats that are baked fresh each day. It was definitely my go-to choice for coffee when I stayed in a Huntsville AirBnB in the Old Town district.

Located at The Stovehouse, Charlie Foster’s is an eclectic retro-style coffee shop that serves an invaluable role in the community. They strive to have a diverse and inclusive staff and employ valued members of the local community, regardless of their physical or mental disabilities.
They also have a fantastic cold brew menu along with classic American snack favorites, like a PB&J sandwich, Everything Avocado Toast, and Pizza Bagels. Not to mention it is one of the most instagrammable places in town so be sure to be photo-ready when you go!

This is another of the cool places for coffee Huntsville is known for. It is located in the stunning historic downtown area inside BeeZr and combines the best of countryside and industrial decor. Northside is a snug coffee corner where you can buy delicious small batch Arabica beans.

Huntsville Coffee Trail
Huntsville runs a coffee trail if you want to try all the different options available in Downtown Huntsville before you settle on your perfect cup. There’s a card that you can get stamped as you try each of the different shops. Once you have all your cards stamped, you get a cool Huntsville coffee trail cup.
They’ve got several craft coffee shops on the Huntsville Coffee Trail that aren’t on this list because we wanted to venture beyond Downtown Huntsville. Besides I prefer to have Pizelle’s Confections and The Moon Bakeshop in the amazing bakeries in Huntsville category.
